The Hirsch Academy serves children ages 5 to 13 years old.  All of our classes are multi-aged in configuration.  We have a rolling admissions process and accept applications throughout the academic year when there is an opening.  The tuition for the 2010-11 academic year is $26,500.

Please submit the items listed below.  Please send items 1, 2, 4 and 5 together.  Your child’s current school may send the school records separately.

  1.  A completed application form.  Both parents or guardians must sign the application form.
  2. A copy of your child’s most recent Psychological Evaluation, Occupational Therapy Evaluation and Speech and Language Evaluation.
  3. A copy of your child’s most recent school records (IEP, Teacher Evaluation or Report Card).
  4. A photograph of your child.
  5. $100.00 non-refundable application fee.

Upon receipt of this information, the Hirsch Academy staff will review your application and if appropriate, will contact you to schedule an interview for your child.  The interview process lasts approximately one hour and includes a parent meeting.  Both parents are required to attend.  Once the interview process is completed, decisions regarding admission will be made as soon as possible.  You will be notified of admission or declination by phone and in writing.
